The Journey of the Strangers

In this era of materialism, consumerism, and extreme liberalism, Muslims often find themselves at a loss, in discord with the ebb and flow of society, and holding onto values divinely revealed that starkly contrast with those held by many around them. They are looked at askance, accused of being backward, non-conformist, and refusing to integrate. Faced with peer pressure, the resolve of some may weaken, resulting in a dilution of their adherence to Islam and the values it espouses.

 This book is a compilation of two tracts that explain the hadith, "Islam began as something strange and will revert to being strange as it began, so give glad tidings to the strangers.” It is hoped that this compilation will be a source of comfort and inspiration for Muslims striving to follow Islam in a time when they might feel alienated and alone in the world.
